Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day — Pet Memorial Tree Giveaway

Promoted by The Kindest Goodbye (TKG) and Trees for Pets (TFP) ("the Promoters", "we", "us").

1. The Promotion

1.1 This is a skill-based competition ("the Promotion"). There is no element of chance involved in winner selection — winners are chosen by judging.

1.2 By entering, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Entry is open to residents of Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom, aged 18 years or older.

2.2 Entry is limited to one (1) entry per person. Duplicate entries from the same person will be disqualified, and only the first valid entry received will be considered.

2.3 Employees (and their immediate family members) of TKG, TFP, and any agencies associated with this Promotion are not eligible to enter.

2.4 No purchase is necessary to enter.

2.5 This Promotion is void where prohibited or restricted by law. It is the entrant's responsibility to confirm they are permitted to enter under the laws of their state, province, or territory of residence.

3. Entry Period

3.1 The Promotion opens at 10:00am AEST on Wednesday, 19 August 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on Wednesday, 26 August 2026 ("Entry Period"). Entries received outside the Entry Period will not be considered.

4. How to Enter

To enter, during the Entry Period you must:

(a) complete the official entry form at [https://form.jotform.com/262288547000051];

(b) be memorialising a pet of your own who has passed away within the last 10 years;

(d) provide your full name and email address; and

(e) agree to these Terms & Conditions, including the consent to use your submitted content set out in clause 8.

Incomplete entries, or entries that do not meet the above criteria, will not be considered.

5. Winner Selection

5.1 Winners will be selected by a judging panel comprising directors of TKG and TFP, based on the following judging criteria: diversity of pets represented, sincerity and quality of the memorial message, and alignment with the Promotion's purpose of honouring pets in a meaningful way.

5.2 Fifty (50) winners will be selected in total.

5.3 Judging is final. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the judging process or outcome.

5.4 Winners will be notified by email on or by 28 August 2026. Winners may also be announced publicly on TFP's and TKG's social media channels.

6. Prize

6.1 Each of the 50 winners will receive:

(a) one (1) pet memorial tree, planted on their behalf; and

(b) one (1) digital tree certificate, delivered via email.

6.2 Trees will be planted by 28 August 2026, as part of reforestation projects that TFP partners with.

6.3 The prize is not transferable, cannot be exchanged, and no cash alternative is offered.

6.4 Total prize pool value: approximately $1,350 AUD (50 x $27 AUD).

7. Personal Information & Privacy

7.1 The Promoters collect personal information (including name, email address, and any photo/message you submit) to conduct this Promotion, notify winners, and for the purpose of sharing pet photos and memorial messages on social media channels.

7.2 By entering, you consent to the Promoters using your email address to notify you of the outcome of your entry.

7.3 Separately, you may opt in to receive future email marketing from the Promoters by ticking the dedicated marketing consent box on the entry form. This is optional and not a condition of entry. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any marketing email, or by contacting marlen@treesforpets.com.au.

7.4 We will handle your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, as set out in our Privacy Policy

7.5 If you are a resident of the United Kingdom, we will also handle your personal information in accordance with the UK GDPR, including your rights to access, correct, or request erasure of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact marlen@treesforpets.com.au.

8. Use of Submitted Content

8.1 By submitting your pet's name, memorial message, and/or photo ("Submitted Content"), you grant the Promoters a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to reproduce, publish, and display the Submitted Content for the purposes of running this Promotion, and marketing TKG/TFP on their websites and social media channels, for a period of 10 years from the date of entry.

8.2 You warrant that you own the Submitted Content (or have permission to submit it), and that it does not infringe any third party's rights.

8.3 You consent to the Promoters using the Submitted Content without further attribution beyond your pet's name and/or your first name, to the extent permitted by the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).

8.4 You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting marlen@treesforpets.com.au. Content already published prior to withdrawal may not be able to be removed retrospectively from all platforms; however, we will use reasonable efforts to remove it from platforms within our direct control, and UK residents may additionally exercise their erasure rights under clause 7.5.

9. General

9.1 The Promoters reserve the right, at their discretion, to disqualify any entry that is offensive, inappropriate, fraudulent, or otherwise does not meet these Terms & Conditions.

9.2 The Promoters reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions, or to cancel, suspend, or postpone the Promotion, if circumstances beyond their reasonable control make it necessary to do so.

9.3 Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits, excludes, or modifies any consumer guarantees or other non-excludable statutory rights available to entrants under the law of their country or state of residence, including the Australian Consumer Law.

9.4 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections entrants are entitled to under their own local law.

9.5.T&Cs don't override any non-excludable statutory rights entrants have under their own country's law
