OUR STORY
Grief doesn't need to stay quiet. It can grow into something meaningful.
We help pet parents turn loss into a lasting tribute — a real tree, planted in their pet's name, standing in a forest that keeps growing with every life we've loved.
Over 12,000 Trees Planted In Memory of Pets We Love
With over 12,000 trees planted we have made a great positive impact, removing CO2 and supporting local communities and wildlife through restored habitats, agricultural land and more balanced ecosystems.
Virtual Forest
To visit your pet memorial tree we have created a virtual forest full of cherished memories, representing every single tree we ever planted in memory of beloved pets.
WHY WE STARTED
More pets than people, and no place for their memory to grow.
Australia is home to more than 29 million pets — more pets than people. Most are cremated, their ashes kept in an urn or scattered somewhere quiet. We asked a simple question: what if, instead, every pet we lost got a tree?
That question became the Trees for Pets forest — a living, growing memorial that's been expanding ever since, one pet at a time.
"We believe every pet deserves to be remembered by something that keeps growing, long after we say goodbye."

Reforestation Work
Reforestation
It’s now common knowledge that one of the best tools to tackle the climate crisis and keep our temperatures from rising above 1.5C is to plant trees. They are also crucial in preventing ecological collapse.
With our partner Ecologi we work on a range of amazing reforestation projects around the world. Ecologi has funded over 80 million trees since 2019. By now over 20,000 businesses have partnered with Ecologi to take collective climate action and we are proud to be one of them.
